Day 1:
day 1- recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself:
1. I met my husband Andrew when I was 12 years old. We started dating when I was 14, got married when I was 19 and are now still happily married 5 years later.
2. I have 2 semesters left before I graduate with my AA in Early Childhood Education. I hope to one day teach Kindergarten when my little ones grow up.
3. I am a Stay at Home Mom and I absolutely love it.
4. I have lived in Arizona my whole life and dream of moving to another state even though I know it will never happen.
5. My Daughter is mostly of Arabic and Italian ethnicity like her Dad but looks 100% like her Mama with fair skin, light hair and light eyes.
6. World hunger is an issue that weighs heavily on my heart. We donate money to World Vision and also fund raise with our Church by participating in the 30 Hour Famine. I want to be able to tell my Grandchildren that I tried my best to impact this terrible issue.
7. I contemplate have a vbac (vaginal birth after cesarean) which my next child. I had an emergency c-section after a failed induction and would love the chance for a natural birth. I haven't decided if the risks outweigh the benefit, yet.
8. I come from a large family and would LOVE to have 4 kids of my own someday.
9. I love music. I will listen to just about anything but mostly listen to Christian rock and indie music. Some of my faves are Florence and the Machine, Skillet, The Killers, Hawk Nelson and Death Cab for Cutie.
10. I wanted to join the Airforce before I met Andrew.
11. I LOVE Arabic food. I was introduced to it the 1st time I met Andrew's family and I think it is delicious.
12. I want to visit Israel before I die.
13. I have two tattoos. One of the back of my neck and one on my foot. Both have symbolic meaning to me
14. I love doing crafts....painting, making hair bows, sewing. Anything really.
15. I am the most un-athletic person you will ever meet. Swear.

Two posts in one month?!?! Oh yeah!
February was a great month for us! Valentine's Day was wonderful! We had pizza at home because Andrew had to take a 4 hour final for one of his Masters classes. We went to a late movie and saw "The Dilemma" which was super funny. I got Andrew some candy and he sent me an edible arrangements. It was SO yummy! Then on the 25th Andrew celebrated his 25th birthday! I took the girls from our Youth Group to the Revolve Tour and it just so happened to land on his birthday! He was such a great sport about it! Addie and I bought him a couple new shirts. We had a birthday dinner for him at Macayos which was very yummy!
I had a wonderful time taking the girls to Revolve! My helper ended getting sick right before the event so I took 16 girls ages 12-17 by myself! We saw great bands, awesome speakers and learned a lot! It was FUN! We will definitely be going back next year!
It's pretty late but I will be updating again next week with pictures =)

New things Addie can do!
Andrew and I were looking through pictures of Addie from birth to present and I can't believe how big my little baby is! She is learning new things every day. I gave her a mani/pedi this morning and she said, "Thanks for coloring my piggies, Mommy!" It just makes you want to squeeze her!
She skips and jumps everywhere! She also knows how to gallop like a pony. It's adorable!
She knows five colors! Blue, red, yellow, purple and green.
She can count to 10 without omitting any numbers!
She knows her name and also refers to herself as "the Baby." This morning she wanted my water bottle and said, "Mama, give that to the baby!" lol
She says please and thank you for everything. She also says excuse me when she burps or when she passes by people in the store.
She knows shapes, too. Circle, triangle, square, heart and star. We're working on more shapes everyday!
When she sees letters she calls them "E-E-I." I don't know why she does but I think it's hilarious!
She loves to dance!
She says a new word almost everyday. She's also starting to put together simple sentences and phrases.
She pretend plays all the time. She cooks food for us in her kitchen, plays with babies and feeds them, all kinds of things! She also love Fisher Price Little People!
Well I will update more another day...sleep is calling my name!

Can you believe?
I really can't believe Addie is already 2 years old (26 months to be exact.) It really feels like just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital. She's such a sweet little girl. She can be very stubborn sometimes but she is a lover.
Right now we are working on potty training. It's a little frustrating at times but I know she understand the concept and that's why we keep trying at it. We bought her big girl panties and she loves them but she still has tons of accidents. I know she will get it eventually and we just have to keep trying.
She is still having sleeping issues but it's getting better everyday. One night she will sleep through the night just perfectly and then the next she will be awake for 2-3 hours in the middle of the night. I don't mind too much because I am a SAHM but if I had to work it would be pretty difficult. We've tried eliminating naps to see if that helps but all it does is make a super cranky little girl and she begs me to put her to sleep. I know it will pass and soon she will be older and I will miss these days when I got to cuddle and spend time with her watching her favorite movies.
I joined Weight Watchers this month. It was difficult to get used to the first few days but now I feel like I "got it." I had my first weigh in yesterday and I lost 10lbs! Can you believe it?!?! 10 lbs! I think a lot of it had to do with not drinking soda and getting rid of all the water and sodium weight but either way I am SO excited. I was able to work out three times but I am hoping I can do it everyday. I not only want to look better but I want to feel better - feel healthy. I don't want Addie to have the "fat parents." I am really dedicated to sticking with it and FINALLY getting rid of this weight. Sometimes it's hard because I just want a hamburger but the food I get to eat is still pretty yummy. I'll keep updating as I weigh in every Thursday.
I finished my 1st semester back at college in January. My major is Small Business Management. While I love education and someday hope to be a teacher, right now I just need to finish my undergrad and business is the most economical for us right now. I took 9 credit hours and only had one class I didn't like. I start again in March and am taking 9 credit hours again. Andrew started his Masters degree this month and he isn't liking it so much. It's hard for him to go to work all day and then come home and do homework. I know he will get the hang of it, though!
All in all we are happy and healthy and we couldn't ask for anything more!
