Adeline's 1st Birthday Party!

It was great! The decorations turned out beautifully! Lots of people who said they were coming did not show, but who cares! We had lots of friends and family there celebrating our baby girls 1st year! She gots lots of new clothes and toys! She is having too much fun playing with her friends Ella, Savannah, Morgan, Lily and Alexa!

My baby is 1!

My little Princess is 1 year old today! It came so fast! She is walking, running (which is HILARIOUS!) says Mama, Dada, Hi, Nana, Baba, What, Thank you, Whoa and probably many more I can't think of! Her 1 year check up is December 9th so I don't have those stats yet. I can remember everything about December 4th, 2008...when this little girl came in and changed our world! I am so blessed to be her Mommy! Tomorrow is her BIG party so I will post some pictures afterwards!

It's my favorite time of year!

My house is already decorated for Christmas! I did it all yesterday morning...and then I did Grandma Gaeta's tree in Coolidge! It was the first time I have ever put up two trees in one day! Addie is doing so well with the Christmas decorations...she broke one ornament, but it was an accident. I also put some things she could have (A little stuff Santa, a reindeer) so that she could touch some things! Thanksgiving was great...went to my Parent's house...made 15lbs of mashed potatoes and a ham! We had fun! Addie's first Thanksgiving and she wouldn't eat ANY of the Thanksgiving food! She ended up eating macaroni and cheese! I then went shopping the next day with Andrew's Mom and little sister at 3:30 in the morning! Even though it was extremely early I got a GREAT deal on this toy for Addie's Birthday: . I also got her this tea set for Christmas: . Then we went to Coolidge on Friday afternoon and stayed the night at Andrew's Grandparent's house. I helped Gram put up her tree! I have a cupcake layout on the blog in honor of Adeline's 1st birthday! I will be a mess all next week! Here are some pictures from these past few weeks:

What a wonderful weekend! Friday night was feeding the homeless with Phoenix Inner City Church. Addie and I stayed home because it's flu season right now. I was sad because I love going, but Addie's health is much more important. Andrew did go though, and said there were a LOT of people. Halloween was my birthday! I can't believe I am 23! Holidays with Addie are definitely more fun! I got a new vacuum from Andrew, a gift card from Andrew's Grandparents, a beautiful silver pendant from Andrew's Aunt Doreen, and cash from Andrew's Mom. My parents also took me out to dinner on Friday night at Olive Garden! My fave! I was able to get some new clothes with my cash/gift card so I was super excited about that! Saturday night we took Addie to th Fall Festival at our Church. It was so fun! I was very sad because I forgot my camera! Sunday we went and visited Andrew's Grandparents in Coolidge. We hadn't seen them since September 19th because they went out of the country so I was soooo happy to see them! Addie was too, even though she was afraid of Papa. It was a great weekend! We are so blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful family and friends! Here are some pictures from this weekend:

I am a terrible blogger!

Andrew and I were talking the other day, and he reminded me what a bad blogger I am! It's not really that I am too lazy to update, it's that I am consumed by my urge to find new craft projects or to hunt for ideas for Addie's 1st Birthday party (Which is only 7!! weeks away!) This is the theme I have chosen:



Addie is now 10 and a 1/2 months! She is so super moble! Luckily our apartment is small enough that she can't really get into trouble. The living room area is baby proofed (if there really is such a thing) and she gets to play without being tempted by being naughty. She is pretty much walking, she's taking a few steps and all unassisted! She's wants to walk so bad but she still gets scared! Her and I have been going to Babytime at the local library and she really has fun! It's like storytime for babies and they do bubbles, play with toys, sing songs...it's so cute. My friend Nikolle also brings her daughter Ella so it's nice to be able to have some Mommy time with her!

I am now working part-time from home! I am working for my previous employer doing accounts receivables and collections. It's wonderful! Sadly, my last day babysitting will be October 30th...but I know it will be better for Addie and me! In September we attended a mother/daughter tea, got new pictures taken, went to the Children's museum went to the doctor...all kinds of things. She weighs around 25lbs and is 31 inches long. She is growing like a weed! She eats all big girl food and has already started the transition to milk!

My 23rd (ew!) birthday is coming up on the 31st! I have now known Andrew for 10 years! What a blessing to meet him on my 13th birthday! Little did I know he was the best thing to happen to me (other than Addie, of course!) All I want for my birthday is a new vacuum, and Snow White on Disney DVD! (HINT HINT!) Anyway..I am going to try and update at least once a week!

Everything is going awesome! We are so blessed and are looking forward to what's next :-)

Why do I go so long between posts?

I haven't updated in a while, well just because I haven't! Everytime I try to get on a upload pictures to photobucket and start a new post Addie needs me, or I get distracted! My baby girl is 9 months old today! She is SO mobile! It's insane! She is getting into everything and I am running all over to keep her out of trouble! Last week we went to the Phoenix Children's Museum with my friend Nikolle and her daughter Ella. We all had so much fun. They had a room that was just for children under age 3. It had soft blocks, baby dolls, a mini ballet bar with a mirror and the girls just loved it. My sister and I are going to go and take all the girls. I know her girls Kaitlynn and Ashlynn would love it! Addie's 9 month well baby appointment is on the 10th so I will have her stats then. I really can't think of anything else new or exciting! Things are going pretty good! We are going to my uncle's wedding in Tucson tomorrow so I will make sure to take lots of pictures! I will update again after her appointment! Here are some pictures!

I need to update!

I haven't blogged in quite a while! Let's see....what's new? Addie is 8 months old! and....she is crawling....well, kind of! She does this adorable army-scoot-type-thing and I love it! She can get herself around, that's for sure! She just can't seem to get the coordination needed to move on her knees and more her hands at the same time! She gets up on her hands and knees with her belly off the floor, but she just can't get going! She also stands up on everything and pulls herself up on things available! It's so cute! She is about 24lbs and 30 inches long! Her next dr. appointment isn't until September, so I am excited to get an exact measurement of her growth! She also loves to eat table food! She hates baby food...she loves to eat scrambled eggs, pieces of plain toast, yogurt melts, cereal puffs, little crunches, plain pasta noodles and all kinds of other things I can't think of! She says banana, mama, dada and waves bye! I'm trying to teach her to blow kisses and give high fives! Well Addie and Cedric are both napping right now so I am going to use this opportunity to get some stuff done!

I have a new resolve for school...

I went and registered for classes on Thursday. I had originally planned not to go back to school...mainly because I didn't know what I wanted to do and I was basically wasting money taking random classes. Andrew and I were talking, and I want Addie to know that her Mom graduated from school too! I am going to finish my medical billing/physician coding certificate. It's not a degree, but it will allow me to do billing from home or in a physicians office and it will allow me to make more money. I'll also be a certified transcriptionist. I'm taking 6 and a 1/2 classes (Who came up with 1/2 credit classes anyways?) and as long as I stay focused I will be done spring 2010. Now that Addie is older I know it will be a little easier for homework because she can play and entertain herself a little bit more. I also qualified for federal pell grant of upto $2900.00 so that means going to school for free too! School is especially hard for me because of the homeschool thing...but I know I can do it!

BUSY weekend!

We had such a busy weekend! It feels like we didn't have any time to relax - at all! Saturday was Andrew's Mom's 50th birthday, and we threw her a surprise party! We had it at the clubhouse here in our apartments and it turned out great! We had about 25 people and just had fun! She was very surprised. Sunday we had Church until 12:30, then my nieces (plural, Kaitlynn turned 7 June 5th and Ashlynn turned 4 June 25th) birthday party at 1:30! We ended up staying until almost 6:00p.m. because we were having so much fun swimming and hanging out. Then Sunday we came home and I had to clean and get our apartment re-organized from the party commotion! Now it's Monday and I have a long week ahead of me! Oh, and Addie is now a big girl sleeping in her own crib! Some of you may know, we started putting her in her crib when we moved out of my parents house back in April, but after we went of vacation in May to Kansas and Addie had to sleep with us, she went on a crib sleeping strike and refused to sleep in her room! It took a week of letting her cry for 15 minute increments but now she is sleeping in there like a pro! Come to find out she is a belly sleeper, though! UGH! It really freaks me out! But we talked to her doctor and he said as long as we are putting her on her back and she is putting herself on her belly, there's nothing we can do! Here are some pictures from this weekend!

4th of July/6th Month Pictures!

Our fourth of July was awesome! We went to Coolidge to visit Andrew's Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles on Friday, and came home on Sunday. We went swimming, hung out, BBQ'd and just had fun! Addie is so spoiled when we go there! They all just love her to pieces. We went to our friends Sabrina and Aron's house on Friday night in AZ City and had dinner and talked loooong into the night! It was so much fun because we don't get to see them very often. We watched fireworks from their backyard because the golf course was doing their fireworks on Friday. Addie loved watching them! Then we swam, ate, swam some more and just hung out with family. Coolidge did a 45 minute firework show! It was hot but way worth it. Addie just loved watching all the colors! Anyway, here are the pictures I promised long ago!
