So much to do!

We got the keys to the house yesterday! Now it's moving, painting, decorating! I might be MIA for a while but I promise to post pictures of the new house soon!

Easter weekend 2011

We had a wonderful weekend! Sunday we went to Easter SONrise ervice at our Church which is outside at the Pastor's barn and it was absolutely beautiful. Then we went to my parent's house and spent time with them. Addie got to feed the baby ducks which she loved! Then off to Coolidge to spend time with Andrew's family! It was very tiring but fun!

I'm raising a cowgirl??

Apparently I am raising a cowgirl! Miss Addie is obsessed with everything "yeehaw" these days and I think it's adorable! We went to the County fair on Sunday and she was able to ride a pony. I thought she was going to be scared but my girl hopped on and yelled "YEEHAW!" the whole time! Then she cried when it was over! I think it's adorable. And I saw these boots:



And HAD to get them for her! She wears them every single day and refuses to take them off. I am actually thinking about ordering a back-up pair lol. Her love of these boots is demonstrated here:



I think it stems from her love of Jessie from Toy Story.

We should be signing papers/getting keys for our new house on Monday! I CAN'T WAIT! It's gorgeous and we are buying it for a ridiculous price. I just can't wait to decorate and start painting!

Day 29 & day 30:

Day 29: Something you have learned in the past month.

That buying a house is the most frustrating process in the world. I am ready for it to be over and to be in my new house!

Day 30: Your favorite song.


I've been listening to a lot of country lately and my favorite song right now is "Ours" by Taylor Swift.

Day 28: A picture of you from last year and now. How have you changed since then?

How am I different? Obviously my hair is different lol. I think I have matured a lot in the last year. 2010 was one of the most difficult years of my life...we had a miscarriage in March 2010, my Brother was beaten and robbed at gunpoint in April 2010, our funding was pulled after 90 days in escrow while trying to buy our house in May 2010 which led to horrible living situations...it was a lot to take in one year. But now I am a stronger and wiser person after having been through all of that. I think my relationship with Christ has grown which is making my life better day by day. I am now the Mother of a toddler, not a little baby, which is making my life more worthwhile. I think I am a happier person in 2011.

Day 27: Why are you doing this challenge?

Honestly, I am hoping it will get me into the groove of blogging everyday or at least a couple times a week. Also, I love reading when other people do these types of things so I thought it would be fun to do one myself!

Day 26: What do you think of your friends?

I think my friends are awesome....that's why they are my friends! I am blessed to have lots of people who care and me and my little family =)

Day 25: What I would find in your bag.

Well I use one bag as a diaper bag/purse so this is what's in it:

-Pull ups and wipes
-Extra outfit for Addie
-Hair brush and tiny rubber bands
-An extra hairbow for Addie
-My wallet
-My make-up bag
-Keys
-Lotion
-Gum
-3 dum dums suckers
-My Nikon camera
-Diaper rash cream
-Neutrogena SPF 70 sunblock
-Fruit snacks
-A small coloring book and crayons
-A couple small toys

Is there anything better than a delicious, adorable cupcake?!?!?! I love me a good cuppycake and crave them on a regular basis. Sooo yummy!

Hair bows make me happy! I don't think there's anything cuter than a little girl with a big ol' hair bow! I love making them, buying them, selling them...everything!

Day 19: Nicknames you have and why you have them.

I really don't have very many nicknames. Some people call me Heid....just a shortened version of Heidi. At my old Church the Youth Group kids used to call me Heidikins. My Parents call me Heidi Hozer lol and I have no idea where that came from! Andrew calls me the usual - hunny, sweetheart and Wifey.

Day 18: Dreams/Goals/Plans you have for yourself.

1. Read, apply and memorize the Bible in it's entirety.

2. Graduate college! I am soooo close! Two more semesters!

2. Someday teach Kindergarten.

3. Own a house....this one is almost complete! As soon as escrow closes!

4. Learn to play the guitar.

5. Travel to Israel.
