Can you believe?

I really can't believe Addie is already 2 years old (26 months to be exact.) It really feels like just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital. She's such a sweet little girl. She can be very stubborn sometimes but she is a lover.

Right now we are working on potty training. It's a little frustrating at times but I know she understand the concept and that's why we keep trying at it. We bought her big girl panties and she loves them but she still has tons of accidents. I know she will get it eventually and we just have to keep trying.

She is still having sleeping issues but it's getting better everyday. One night she will sleep through the night just perfectly and then the next she will be awake for 2-3 hours in the middle of the night. I don't mind too much because I am a SAHM but if I had to work it would be pretty difficult. We've tried eliminating naps to see if that helps but all it does is make a super cranky little girl and she begs me to put her to sleep. I know it will pass and soon she will be older and I will miss these days when I got to cuddle and spend time with her watching her favorite movies.

I joined Weight Watchers this month. It was difficult to get used to the first few days but now I feel like I "got it." I had my first weigh in yesterday and I lost 10lbs! Can you believe it?!?! 10 lbs! I think a lot of it had to do with not drinking soda and getting rid of all the water and sodium weight but either way I am SO excited. I was able to work out three times but I am hoping I can do it everyday. I not only want to look better but I want to feel better - feel healthy. I don't want Addie to have the "fat parents." I am really dedicated to sticking with it and FINALLY getting rid of this weight. Sometimes it's hard because I just want a hamburger but the food I get to eat is still pretty yummy. I'll keep updating as I weigh in every Thursday.

I finished my 1st semester back at college in January. My major is Small Business Management. While I love education and someday hope to be a teacher, right now I just need to finish my undergrad and business is the most economical for us right now. I took 9 credit hours and only had one class I didn't like. I start again in March and am taking 9 credit hours again. Andrew started his Masters degree this month and he isn't liking it so much. It's hard for him to go to work all day and then come home and do homework. I know he will get the hang of it, though!

All in all we are happy and healthy and we couldn't ask for anything more!
