Well here I am trying to cram three months into one blog post! It's been a rough couple of months for us. In August we found out that we were pregnant! I was so unbelievably happy but very nervous. It took 13 months for us to conceive. On August 23rd I started having some cramping so the doctor put me on modified bedrest and told me to take it easy. On the 26th we found out that we had another miscarriage. This one was almost the same down to the day as the miscarriage in March 2010. 6 weeks 4 days. I feel like I handled it a lot better this time. We are still hopeful that we will have a healthy child soon.
In September nothing too exciting happened. Kind of just the same ol same ol!
October has been a busy month for sure! On the 21st my best friend Vanessa had her baby girl Azalea! I was there with her when she gave birth and it was one of the most incredible experiences EVER! I had an emergency c-section with Addie and had never witnessed a vaginal birth in person. Vanessa was a champ and didn't get an epidural, was only in labor for three hours and pushed four times! Little Lea is a gorgeous baby girl and I love to hold her. I think going through that with Vanessa has made our bond as friends much closer. She has another daughter named Lily who is around the same age as Addie so seeing her as a big sister warms my heart. I hope Addie can be a big sister someday.
On Saturday the 22nd my Brother's fiance went into labor! My little nephew Kota was born on October 22nd at the same hospital as Azalea! It was amazing! I love love love my little nephew! He is the first boy born in our family since my brother Coty! They got to go home last night and I can't wait to see him again. We weren't there when Natali gave birth but I heard she did wonderful! Kota is such a cute little man. I can't wait to watch him grow. They are going to be great parents.
Addie is doing great. She is completely potty trained! It's been sooooo awesome! She is my big girl =) She is learning new things everyday. She loves to color and play with play doh. She still loves all things Jessie and cowgirl. We are having a barnyard/Jessie birthday party for her this year! We went to the "pookin patch" on Saturday and she had a great time. She rode a pony, went through a corn maze, went to the petting zoo and all kinds of other fun stuff.
I am going to fold some laundry but I will update with pictures soon!
