Buying a home is NOT fun!

As most you bloggy friends know, we are in the process of buying our 1st home...all of the fun has been sucked out of it. We are continually having issues with Chase (our lender) and we were supposed to close on February 18th but here we are STILL WAITING! I am going crazy! Thanks for letting me rant, lol.

The past few weeks have been great...Addie is getting so big. She's so smart and is learning something new everyday. Her 15 month check-up was on Friday and she's 27.5lbs and 31 & 1/2 inches tall. Our pediatrician is sending us to a specialist next week for Addie's eyes...they are constantly goopy and weeping. She also has a slight cross in her left eye. He says other than that she is P-E-R-F-E-C-T! We are going to start potty training soon...I think she's ready. Here are a few pictures from this weekend:

Fun with friends!

Today we went to the mall with my friend Vanessa and her daughter Lily who just turned 1! We let the girls play in the play area and walked around...just a chance to get out for a little bit! It was super fun! Her daughter is such a cutie. Addie played nicely, too...which is surprising for her!

Tutus, bows and Valentines!

Valentine's Day is already right around the corner! AHH! I had these wonderful plans of taking Addie's picture in the tutu I made her and sending photo Valentines...but I am not so sure that's going to happen! Valentine's Day is only 1 week away! I might end up just printing the picture of her in the tutu and sending them with regular Valentines because I don't think I have enough time to order some and get them sent! Silly me for taking too long! We should be closing on the house on February 19th! We will start cleaning/getting the house ready and then moving in shortly after that. I still haven't decided on ANY paint colors for the entire house. Everytime I feel like I made a decision I change my mind and contemplate other ideas! So annoying. I guess I'd better get it together soon. I am also thinking of starting a shop/blog for my bows, tutus, name letters and all my other craft projects...what do you think? Andrew's birthday is coming soon...February 25th. He's going to be 24! I tell him that's old....but only because I have been with him since he was 14! I sure do love that boy!

It's almost February?!?!?!

I can't believe we are almost into the month of February! We had our home inspection on January 21st and it went very well...no major issues, just needs some light maintenance and cleaning and painting! We close on February 19th and get the keys on February 20th. We will have a little over a month to work on the house until we actually move in. I am super excited! I can't believe we are going to own a home! I went back to work full-time....and am already going back to part-time from home, lol. It just wasn't working and I missed my baby too much. We went to the park for a birthday party and they had a pond with ducks and Addie pointed to the ducks and said "Quack!" It was so adorable! She is now climbing on everything...she learned how to push her doll stroller and her little push car up to things to be able stand on it and reach things! She is too darn smart.
